The Moon

The young tulips asked the moon at night “How do you get the radiance in your sublime glow?”

The moon replied, “It is not my radiance, I just reflect and project the light of the Sun.”

The tulips proclaimed in awe “Lo! Only if we too could gaze at the sun like you do in the nightsky!”

The moon unveiled her smile and whispered, “Though you may never gaze at the sun directly, you can still feel its reflection, warmth and all that it illuminates – nurturing you and others, from the outside and within. You may not see the sun during the night, yet I am a sign of its presence – reminding that it is never too dark. The sun may appear to be setting to you, but it also rising on the other side – we are not separated from the source.”
